Spanish Language Version of SchoolWeb
Software Released
VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA -- Alternet Systems Inc.( NASD
OTCBB: ASYI ) announces that it has released the Spanish language
version of its SchoolWeb software for education.
The release of the Spanish language version of Schoolweb
allows the Company to pursue the vast market in Latin America
for SchoolWeb wireless broadband networks. This market is
a top priority for the Company as it proceeds with SchoolWeb
showcase projects in Latin America.
The market in Latin America for SchoolWeb wireless broadband
systems is estimated at $350 million. Spanish is the third
most spoken language in the world and is the official language
of 20 countries in Latin America.
Combining online courseware with a virtual Internet library,
SchoolWeb provides all the tools required to create a high-quality
learning environment for students and teachers in the digital
age. This is especially important for developing countries
that have a large, rural population and limited library and
education resources.
